The Purple Heart is awarded to service members wounded or killed in combat. It is one of the oldest military decorations still given today, and every recipient carries a story most of us will never fully understand.
MOPH exists to serve those recipients who live right here, in our neighborhoods, our towns, our communities. We connect them with support, with resources, and with each other, because coming home is only the beginning.

There are Military Order of the Purple Heart recipients in your city right now who are struggling, with finances, with isolation, with a system that decorated them and then moved on.
We don’t move on. We show up with AC units when it’s 95 degrees in July. We cover the travel so a veteran in Port St. Lucie can sit with his brothers for the first time in years. We sit with someone when the nightmares come back and there’s no one else awake at 3am to call. We make sure nobody who bled for this country gets left behind in it.
